BIOGRAPHY
I was born in the Netherlands, moving to Melbourne as a small child. After training as a secondary art teacher in Melbourne, I moved to South, East and then Central Gippsland. I have resided here for the past 48 years. For much of this time I taught art in the tertiary, secondary or disability sectors.
I have moved from pastels on paper, to acrylic on canvas as my prefered media in recent years. Drawing remains an abiding interest, with life drawing sessions always on the agenda.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
1995 –2001:
Painting, General Drawing and Life Drawing components of the Diploma of Visual Art, TAFE, Bairnsdale.
1969 – 1972:
Higher Diploma of Teaching (Secondary Art and Craft), Melbourne Teachers College, Melbourne.
